If there is one thing I have had to wrestle to the ground over and over again it is fear.
When I was a little girl I couldn't fall asleep with the lights off. I was afraid of the dark. I used a nightlight until an embarrassingly old age.
Growing up I feared death, failure, rejection, and the list goes on. As a mother, new fears surfaced related to my children. And when our daughter, Lucy, was diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases I came face to face with countless things that scared me to death. These days just turning on the news can send me into a panic attack. How about you? What fears have you faced?
Our Type ONEderland journey has solidified something for me - scared can lead to sacred if I put my fears in the right place. The situations that give me crazy nervous butterflies in my stomach can also be the ones that lead me to a deeper, calmer place of peace. Isn't that something?
Fear is one of many subjects I tackle in my new ebook Type ONEderland. If you could use a friendly voice to guide you through your own scary seasons I would love to be that for you. You can grab a copy of the book on Amazon today! Big, warm hugs to ALL of you who have already purchased the book!!
